Dallas Cowboys backup running back Miles Sanders saw more run in Dallas' 31-14 blowout loss on Sunday in Week 3 to the hosting Chicago Bears, carrying the ball nine times for 41 yards and catching all three of his targets for an additional 12 yards through the air. The 28-year-old looked the best he had in the third game of the season and had 4.6 yards per carry, although his elevated usage mostly came in garbage time in the second half with the Cowboys down by multiple scores. Four of his nine carries came on the last possession of the game, so fantasy managers looking for RB depth aren't going to be able to count on this kind of workload consistently moving forward, especially once the team finally decides to involve rookie Jaydon Blue (he's been a healthy scratch all three weeks). Right now, Sanders is merely a handcuff for fantasy managers who have Javonte Williams rostered.

The Seattle Seahawks are converting rookie fifth-round tight end Robbie Ouzts to a 274-pound fullback as part of their vision for a more physical running game under new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, according to ESPN's Brady Henderson. Ouzts will be competing with Brady Russell, who is also making the transition from tight end to fullback this offseason. He worked mostly as a blocker during his four-year college career at Alabama, so it should be a pretty natural transition for Ouzts in Seattle. Ouzts obviously won't be on the fantasy radar at all as a blocker if he's on the field regularly, but this news is good news for the Seahawks' ground attack and starting running back Kenneth Walker III and backup Zach Charbonnet. In 17 games last year, Seattle averaged just 95.7 rushing yards per game, which ranked as the fifth-fewest in the NFL.
Still trying to decide between Sanders and Ouzts? Check on the latest news to make sure both players are active and healthy. Our PPR projections show that Miles Sanders is projected to score 3.1 points this week while Robbie Ouzts is projected to score 0.0 points.
