Less than 24 hours after releasing Nathan Peterman, the Chicago Bears have re-signed the veteran quarterback to the active roster. Peterman will presumably be the Bears' backup to Justin Fields in Week 3 against the Buccaneers. Undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent will serve as the emergency quarterback. The 29-year-old Peterman has played in 13 games in his five-year NFL career.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love completed 23 of 36 passes for 246 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions while adding two carries for a loss of two yards and one rushing touchdown during the team's 34-20 loss to the Detroit Lions. The 24-year-old salvaged a terrible fantasy performance with the rushing touchdown at the start of the fourth quarter, but this goes down as his worst fantasy performance of the season so far. Love hit the returning Christian Watson for a touchdown, and his return should help with future fantasy performances. With back-to-back single-passing touchdown performances, the first-year starter has returned to earth but gets a bounce-back matchup against Las Vegas in Week 5. Love will be a top-tier streaming option in that matchup.
