Nick Chubb News

Will Nick Chubb Play Again in 2026?

Monday, June 22, 5:37 AM

In the conversation of the best pure runner in the league as recently as three years ago, four-time Pro Bowl running back Nick Chubb has been unable to return to form since the devastating knee injury that ended his 2023 season, and the 30-year-old former second-round pick remains unsigned ahead of 2026 training camps. In his first full season back since the injury, Chubb played 15 games for the Houston Texans in 2025, but lacking the contact balance that made him one of the game's true elites through his first five seasons with the Browns, he ran for only 506 yards on 122 carries. Prior to the injury, Chubb had averaged 5.3 yards per carry in his brilliant career, but that number has fallen to 3.7 in his 23 games since. While a running back injury somewhere across the league could keep the door open for him to return for a ninth professional season, Chubb has fallen to RotoBaller's dynasty RB99, and his days of fantasy relevance appear to be squarely behind him.

Ty Chandler News

Saints Agree With Ty Chandler on Tuesday

Tuesday, March 17, 12:29 PM

The New Orleans Saints announced on Tuesday that they agreed to terms on an undisclosed one-year deal with free-agent running back Ty Chandler, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The Saints added Travis Etienne Jr. to their backfield in free agency and could move on from veteran Alvin Kamara as a result. In the Big Easy, the 27-year-old Chandler will most likely be competing for backup duties with Kendre Miller, Devin Neal, and Audric Estime going into the 2026 season. The former fifth-round pick by the Minnesota Vikings in 2022 out of North Carolina was limited to only three games in 2025 due to injury, carrying the ball 17 times for 47 yards and catching three passes for 11 yards. Chandler's best season came in Year 2 in 2023, when he had 102 rushing attempts for 461 yards and three touchdowns, adding 21 receptions for another 159 yards in 17 games (four starts). With a likely limited role on offense with the Saints, Chandler is, at best, a dynasty/keeper stash for RB depth.
