Cincinnati Bengals tight end Noah Fant (ankle) was a non-participant during Wednesday's practice session. Fant was forced to leave during the first half of Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Fant is now trending in the wrong direction for this weekend's game against the Miami Dolphins due to a right-ankle issue. Fant hasn't been much help to fantasy managers recently anyway. He has been held to one reception or fewer in each of his last four games. The absence of Fant would mean a larger workload for Mike Gesicki, while Tanner Hudson would serve as the No. 2. Gesicki will be an intriguing streaming option with an expanded role against the Dolphins in Week 16.

Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson (calf) is officially available for Sunday night's match against the Minnesota Vikings. The top tight end carried a questionable tag on Friday's final injury report. On Thursday, he was unable to practice but returned on Friday in a limited capacity. However, he was able to progress enough to suit up. After a hot start to the season, when he averaged an impressive 17.2 PPR points per game over the first seven weeks, Ferguson has seen his production take a massive step back, averaging just 8.7 PPR points from Weeks 8 through 14. This evening, he will face a Minnesota secondary that has allowed the 16th-most PPR points to opposing TEs this season. He projects to be a low-end TE1 in standard formats and is a viable play in DFS showdown slates.
