Veteran quarterback P.J. Walker is now looking for a new team after being cut by the Chicago Bears on Sunday. The 28-year-old was brought in on a two-year contract during the offseason to backup Justin Fields but he struggled in training camp. The Bears opted to keep undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent and veteran Nathan Peterman instead. Walker played the last three seasons with the Carolina Panthers, where he compiled a 4-3 record in seven starts.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (calf) did not take part in practice on Thursday. Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said that the team will take it "day-to-day" with Borrow after he aggravated a calf injury in the Week 2 loss that kept him out for all of training camp and the preseason, and Burrow himself said "we'll see" when asked if he'll play on Monday night against the Los Angeles Rams. Burrow's calf injury and inactivity this summer is a big reason why Cincy's offense has gotten off to a slow start, and that may not chance for a while if he's forced to miss additional time. If you drafted the 26-year-old hoping he'd be your starter each and every week, you should already be searching for an insurance policy in Week 3, especially with the Bengals' game not coming until Monday this week. If Burrow misses Monday's game, Jake Browning would make the start under center.
