Veteran quarterback P.J. Walker is now looking for a new team after being cut by the Chicago Bears on Sunday. The 28-year-old was brought in on a two-year contract during the offseason to backup Justin Fields but he struggled in training camp. The Bears opted to keep undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent and veteran Nathan Peterman instead. Walker played the last three seasons with the Carolina Panthers, where he compiled a 4-3 record in seven starts.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence draws an easier matchup this week, taking on the Houston Texans at home. The third-year struggled mightily last Sunday against Kansas City in a performance that he described as "kind of embarrassing." Lawrence put up 216 yards and zero scores, leading to a 9.24 fantasy point output for the day. The Texans are up next, and while they are usually a great matchup for any fantasy asset, DeMeco Ryans' defense has held Lamar Jackson and the Colts QB duo to an average of 198 passing yards through two weeks. Still, with the number of weapons that Lawrence has at his disposal and a 26.5 team-implied total, expect a solid bounce back for the former Clemson star. He's a back-end QB1 for Week 3.
