Miller finished with six carries for 21 yards in Sunday's 17-17 tie. He has logged exactly six carries each in the team's two preseason contests as he looks to establish himself as Alvin Kamara's backup following two injury-plagued seasons. With Cam Akers and Clyde Edwards-Helaire turning in underwhelming performances again this week and Devin Neal (hamstring) sidelined by a hamstring injury, the backup job appears to be Miller's to lose.
