Richie James Placed On Injured Reserve

Saturday, September 23, 8:45 PM

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Richie James (knee) has been placed on the injured reserve on Saturday. He wasn't able to practice all week due to an MCL injury. James only played three offensive snaps in Week 2, but has an important role on special teams. There will now be a void to fill on special teams with James out for at least the next four games. He'll be eligible to return for the Week 7 matchup versus the Los Angeles Chargers. Fantasy managers can continue to ignore James in all fantasy formats.

Josh Downs A Risky Choice For Week 1

Saturday, September 9, 9:40 PM

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs has done enough to earn himself a starting spot ahead of the Week1 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The rookie wideout has looked good in camp and will open the season as the starting slot receiver. The Colts have high hopes for Downs after selecting him in the third-round of this year's draft. However, there could be a learning curve for this offense with rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson under center. Downs won't be an ideal streaming option for Week 1, but is worth keeping an eye on. He should be rostered in basically all dynasty formats and might have PPR value in the near future.
