Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Sterling Shepard was quiet during the Week 10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The veteran wideout hauled in one of his three targets for seven yards. Shepard has seen increased snaps lately with the Bucs shorthanded at wideout. However, Shepard could see his role in the offense decrease with Mike Evans (hamstring) likely to return against the New York Giants this weekend. Shepard hasn't offered much value all season and it's unlikely to go up now. Fantasy managers should look elsewhere for help ahead of Week 12.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Tim Patrick will not be a recommended fantasy option this Sunday when his team takes on the Indianapolis Colts in a road matchup. The former Denver Bronco is far and away the third-leading snap-getter in Detroit's WR corps, though it has yet to amount to much in the production department. In fact, despite participating in 120 more snaps than fellow wideout Kalif Raymond, Raymond has out-targeted, out-received, and out-gained him by one. Additionally, running backs David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs are more involved in the Lions' passing attack. Even in an excellent matchup, the 31-year-old is nothing more than a desperation dart throw in Week 12. The veteran is RotoBaller's PPR WR73 in this week's ranks.
