T.J. Hockenson News

T.J. Hockenson Finds End Zone In Vikings Win

Sunday, September 13, 5:17 PM

Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson posted a solid day in his team's 39-22 victory against Green Bay by catching four of his five targets for 36 yards and a touchdown. Despite losing quarterback Kyler Murray (head) on a penalized hit, the Vikings still rallied for 29 unanswered points to wrestle away control of the game, with Hockenson's 16-yard touchdown catch from backup Carson Wentz starting the surge. Hockenson's five targets ranked second on the team behind nine for wide receiver Justin Jefferson, an encouraging start to the year despite another quarterback injury. The veteran tight end was a top-five fantasy player before a knee injury late in 2023, so he could be an intriguing buy-low candidate early this year. Minnesota will stay in the NFC North by visiting Chicago next week.

Trey McBride News

Trey McBride Kicks Off TE1 Campaign On Sunday

Saturday, September 12, 6:10 AM

Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride's success in 2025 made him not only the most productive player at his position, but one of the top receivers overall. McBride's 1,239 receiving yards ranked sixth in the NFL, and his 126 receptions trailed only league-leader Puka Nacua's 129. With Michael Wilson's rise in 2025 and Marvin Harrison Jr. healthy to start 2026, McBride might not reach the same season-long heights that he did last year, but he will still operate as Arizona's primary receiver and be a top option at tight end every week. His first game to make a mark is coming on Sunday against the Chargers. Los Angeles gave up the fifth-fewest fantasy points to tight ends in 2025, but McBride's role in the Cardinals' offense makes him a must-start in Week 1.
