Tai Felton News

Tai Felton Has Strong Day Against Ravens

Saturday, August 22, 7:45 PM

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Tai Felton hauled in three of four targets for 66 yards in the 13-3 preseason loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Felton caught a 50-yard bomb from quarterback J.J. McCarthy down the right sideline, headlining a strong day for the second-year receiver. With the three starting receivers, Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and Jauan Jennings, all sitting out, Felton was the lead receiver. He played 18 of 19 snaps, ran 11 routes, and led the starting offense in targets against the Ravens. Some have speculated that Felton could be the WR3, ahead of Jennings in the receiver rotation, and Saturday's strong outing lends credibility to those theories. While Felton is unlikely to carry an impactful fantasy role this season, he could diminish Jennings' value as the third receiver in Minnesota.

Jimmy Horn Jr. News

Jimmy Horn Jr. Comfortably Outside the Fantasy Discussion for 2026

Monday, June 22, 5:49 AM

A sixth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr. caught only 11 passes for 108 yards as a rookie, and could now be fighting for his roster spot heading into year two. At 5'8" and 170 pounds, Horn's role in his first season was largely limited to clear-out routes and a handful of catch-and-run gadget plays, but with the team drafting Chris Brazzell II in the third round of the NFL Draft and adding John Metchie III through free agency, those responsibilities could go elsewhere in 2026. Tetairoa McMillan and Jalen Coker are locked into the top two spots on the depth chart, while 2024 first-round pick Xavier Leggette offers big-bodied depth behind them, and with Horn making limited special teams contributions as a rookie, he could be hard-pressed to earn a roster spot as a sixth receiver. Even if he does stick around with Carolina or latch on with another team after training camp, Horn is not a player who needs to be considered for fantasy at RotoBaller's dynasty WR144.
