Philadelphia Eagles backup quarterback Tanner McKee (thumb) was not spotted at practice on Sunday, according to Eliot Shorr-Parks of 94WIP. McKee fractured his thumb earlier this month and has not practiced in roughly two weeks. The 25-year-old was solid while filling in last year, as he completed 30 of his 45 pass attempts for 323 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions. With Thursday's regular-season opener fast approaching, it appears unlikely that McKee will be healthy enough to suit up. If he's inactive, Sam Howell would operate as the Eagles' No. 2 quarterback behind Jalen Hurts.

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is hoping to lead the Bears to their ninth win in their last ten games when they face the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13. Williams has ascended in his second season, completing 213 of 360 passes for 2568 yards, with 16 touchdowns and four interceptions in 11 games. Williams has also improved his rushing production in 2025, totaling 293 yards and three touchdowns on 56 carries. The 2024 first-overall pick is averaging 19.7 fantasy points per game, which puts him on pace to finish as the QB8 in fantasy this season. Philadelphia's pass defense has been middle of the pack this season, but has improved since acquiring Jaelan Phillips at the trade deadline. The key will be if Williams can play mistake-free football, as fantasy managers can feel comfortable starting him in Week 13.
