Terry McLaurin News
Thursday, March 19, 2:37 PM
ESPN's John Keim writes that the Washington Commanders are still seeking another receiver "who can serve as a No. 2 wideout" opposite Terry McLaurin this offseason. The Commanders did sign backups Dyami Brown and Van Jefferson and also re-signed Treylon Burks, but they still want someone who can be a true No. 2 behind McLaurin, like Deebo Samuel Sr. was last year. An intriguing name that Keim thinks the Commanders could pursue is San Francisco 49ers receiver Brandon Aiyuk (knee) once he's released. The team is aware of Aiyuk's desire to play with quarterback Jayden Daniels, but they likely won't sign him for more than a one-year, prove-it deal after he missed all of the 2025 season. The Commanders could also look to the upcoming NFL draft for another wideout to pair with McLaurin. Neither McLaurin nor Daniels was healthy last year, leading to a disappointing season overall for the franchise. If McLaurin and Daniels stay healthy in 2026, he could be a solid WR2 for fantasy managers, regardless of whether they bring another WR.

Malik Nabers News
Monday, March 30, 4:23 PM
New York Giants general manager Joe Schoen is "hopeful" that wide receiver Malik Nabers (knee) will be "ready from the jump" for Week 1 of the 2026 regular season in September, according to Dan Salomone of Giants.com. "Like I always say, we'll see," Schoen said. "As long as there's not a setback or whatever it may be, optimistic Week 1, he'll be ready. But again, you just never tell with these things and how they're going to react or if there's any setbacks. But he's in a good spot right now mentally and physically." Nabers actually has a chance to be good to go for Week 1 since he suffered his torn ACL in his right knee way back in Week 4 in 2025. Fantasy managers will have a better read on the former sixth overall pick's availability for the coming season once training camp gets underway in late July. Despite coming off a major knee injury, the 22-year-old has youth on his side and should continue to have high-end WR1 upside in fantasy with young QB Jaxson Dart after he caught 127 passes for 1,475 yards and nine touchdowns in his first 19 NFL games.
