Travis Etienne Jr. a Stellar Week 15 Play

Saturday, December 13, 2:39 AM

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. is in a prime spot to tally his sixth top-12 half-PPR finish in seven games and propel fantasy managers down the stretch. We've lost the early-season efficiency seen back in the first month of play, but steady volume on an offense averaging 30 points per game since Week 8 will suffice. His outlook is further bolstered by Bhayshul Tuten's poor recent form (2.3 yards per carry over the last three games) and drawing a top-five matchup against the Jets. Gang Green has surrendered rush TDs to everyone lately, including three different Miami RBs last week. The Jets are set to start third-stringer Brady Cook at quarterback, which has the Jags favored by roughly two TDs across all major sportsbooks. Etienne rosters should enjoy several scoring chances throughout the contests due to a positive gamescript and the advantageous matchup. As a result, Etienne is locked in as a top-10 option at the position per our ranks at RotoBaller.

Chase Brown News

Chase Brown Continues to Ascend as Must-Start Option

Saturday, December 13, 7:39 PM

Cincinnati Bengals running back Chase Brown wasn't as efficient as a runner in Week 14's loss to the Buffalo Bills, but he made up for it with the fourth multi-touchdown game of his career. Brown has been on a heater over the past few weeks after a slow start to the season. Since Week 8, the 25-year-old running back has totaled 87 carries for 417 yards and two touchdowns while adding 29 receptions (40 targets) for 205 yards and two more touchdowns as a receiver, ranking as the RB6 with 19.2 PPR points per game over that time. Brown has been a high-variance running back this season, posting five games with at least five yards per carry and four games with less than three yards per carry in games where he recorded at least 10 rush attempts. He remains a high-end option in the Bengals' potent offense for Week 15 against the Baltimore Ravens.
