Travis Etienne Jr. News
Friday, March 6, 2:37 PM
Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer thinks that Jacksonville Jaguars impending free-agent running back Travis Etienne Jr. could wind up at over $10 million per year in free agency, and he could be a good fit with a team like the New Orleans Saints. Long-time lead back Alvin Kamara (knee) played in a career-low 11 games last year due to a knee injury, and the Saints restructured his contract on Friday with the potential to move on from the aging back. If the Saints were to move on from Kamara or he were to retire, Etienne would be firmly in play for Etienne and the other top RBs on the open market this offseason. The 27-year-old is the total package as a runner and receiver, having totaled 1,107 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on 260 carries while adding 36 catches for 292 yards and another six TDs in 17 regular-season games with the Jags in 2025. Etienne's fantasy arrow is pointing up, but his final 2026 value will be determined once we know where he'll be playing.

Kenneth Walker III News
Monday, March 9, 8:43 AM
Former Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III is signing a three-year, $45 million deal with the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday, sources told Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network. It's about the best possible landing spot for Walker, who was named Super Bowl LX MVP last month. The Chiefs were in desperate need of backfield help with both Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt hitting free agency this week. The 25-year-old Walker will help stabilize KC's backfield as they look to get back to the postseason in 2026. Walker had 1,027 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns on 221 carries in 17 regular-season starts last year, adding 31 receptions for 282 yards through the air. Seattle paired Walker with Zach Charbonnet (knee) to keep him healthy for a full season for the first time in his career. Walker added 313 rushing yards and four TDs in three postseason games to raise his price in free agency even more. Now in KC, Walker will have plenty of upside as a high-end RB2/low-end RB1 in fantasy.
