Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen said that running back Trey Sermon will serve as the backup behind Zack Moss with Jonathan Taylor (thumb) set to miss two to three weeks with a thumb injury that requires surgery. Sermon was the No. 2 behind Moss earlier in the year when Taylor was still on the Physically Unable to Perform list for an ankle injury that required offseason surgery, but he didn't see more than six touches in a game as the No. 2. The 24-year-old former third-rounder has eight carries for 24 yards and has caught one pass for four yards in his nine games in Indy in 2023. Moss should be the bell-cow back for the Colts for as long as Taylor is sidelined, giving him clear RB2 upside in fantasy.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White found himself struggling once again on the ground during Sunday's game. The young back rushed 20 times for 84 yards and scored a touchdown in the win over the Carolina Panthers. White also added three receptions for 22 yards through the air. Fantasy managers are thankful for the touchdown as that helped salvage his fantasy value. The Bucs have no other viable options at running back, so White should continue getting the ball at a high rate. Fantasy managers should consider White a RB2 for next week's matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
