The Pittsburgh Steelers have promoted running back Trey Sermon to their active roster from the practice squad ahead of their Week 10 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. Sermon has only appeared in three games this season for Pittsburgh, logging just one offensive snap and working almost entirely on special teams. Minnesota Vikings running back Zavier Scott suffered an injury to his right wrist in Week 7's loss to the Eagles. Scott handled four carries for four yards and added a catch for two yards in the game, and appears to have banged up his wrist at some point during the game. Scott has served as the primary backup to Jordan Mason while Aaron Jones (hamstring) is on injured reserve.
