Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier was the RB4 overall in standard scoring formats in Week 1 but had a disappointing Week 2 effort with 16 carries for 48 yards. However, his workload is still respectable enough to roll the dice on him in FLEX spots, especially in the deep leagues. In Week 3 against the Detroit Lions, the Falcons will continue to adopt a run-first approach and should have success on the ground. Allgeier is dependent on touchdowns to pay off in fantasy football, but he should have a good chance at finding the end zone against a mediocre defense. His workload could be reduced as the season moves forward, so now is the time to get the value out of him in fantasy lineups.

Chicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert will look to spark the Bears woeful offense from the backfield in Week 3 against the Chiefs. Chicago's offense has looked inept through the first two games and Herbert has seen only 16 carries to open the season. He has produced 122 total yards thus far but will face a Chiefs defensive line that has been stingy early in the season. Through two games, Kansas City has allowed the 10th fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs across the league. Herbert has talent but the offense he plays in makes him, no higher, than an RB3 play in Week 3.
