Tyler Allgeier News
Monday, September 14, 6:19 AM
Arizona Cardinals running back Tyler Allgeier has solidified himself as an intriguing fantasy football option for the next few weeks. Allgeier led the backfield in touches on Sunday, logging six more carries than Jeremiyah Love. He was less efficient than Love, and the rookie vultured a touchdown from him. However, we saw that he can handle a workload of 17-20 touches as the Cardinals gradually phase Love into the offense. We expect to see a similar backfield split again in Week 2, leaving Allgeier in the RB3 range for fantasy football. He has a little bit of PPR upside after catching two passes on Sunday, and his 17-carry workload suggests that he could've gotten some touchdown opportunities in Week 1 if things had fallen into place a little differently. A matchup against the Seahawks' defense is never easy, but we like Allgeier's odds to play a steady role for all four quarters in a projected close game.

Zay Flowers News
Monday, September 14, 5:12 AM
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers (hamstring) is day-to-day with an injury that is not considered serious, according to Ian Rapoport. Rapoport also noted that if it were a playoff game, Flowers would likely have returned, which is great news for his outlook. He was off to a dominant start in Week 1's 41-23 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, hauling in five of six targets for 150 yards and a touchdown, all in the first half. Flowers was playing nearly every snap and had played 55% of the time in the slot before the injury. Fantasy managers should expect Flowers to be inactive, as hamstring injuries can be difficult to overcome on a short turnaround. However, if Flowers can play in Week 2, he should contend for WR1 status against the New Orleans Saints, who allowed 10 receptions and two touchdowns to Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown in Week 1.
