Minnesota Vikings running back Zavier Scott turned in another quality performance on Saturday against New England, accumulating 44 receiving yards on three catches to go with 28 yards on 10 carries. While the former undrafted rookie didn't find much room on the ground, he once again proved dangerous with the ball in his hands as a pass catcher. After an uninspiring day from incumbent RB3 Ty Chandler, Scott looks to be making a serious case to be the third option out of the Minnesota backfield.

Jacksonville Jaguars senior writer John Oehser reports that Jaguars running back LeQuint Allen Jr. says "he belongs" and said "I feel like when I put the pads on, I'm just as good as anybody," Allen said. Allen did not receive many carries in the preseason, with only two rushing attempts for 18 yards and zero touchdowns, but averaged nine yards per rush. Allen prides himself on being an elite pass-blocker and has showcased that in Jaguars training camp. Allen is currently fourth on the depth chart behind Tank Bigsby, Travis Etienne, and Bhayshul Tuten and will need to continue to impress in camp to make the 53-man roster. If the Jaguars decide to trade any of their running backs, it would significantly improve his chances of making the roster.
