James Conner is back and very available After an extended absence to injury, James Conner is back and taking…96% of the snaps for the Cardinals and racking up 24 touches. On top of that, the Cardinals waived Eno Benjamin who had put in an absolute shift during his time as the lead back. So, after returning from injury, I don't think it is hyperbole to say that Conner has the firmest grasp on a backfield of any running back in the league. And with a nearly fully guaranteed contract in 2023, Conner has staying power for another year. These two things make him an excellent buy for competing dynasty teams that are looking for a boost down the stretch. If Conner is owned by a rebuilding owner, you can assume they will be trying to get off him after a two-touchdown performance to gain additional long-term assets. But given his injury history, you can still probably obtain Conner, a 3 down back in a decent offense, cheaper than you should be able to. He's a definite buy candidate.
