Bold NFL Predictions Week 3

We're moving along in this football season and it's moving quickly. We're already heading into Week 3 and before you know it, it'll be the playoffs. It looks like some of the rookie wide receivers came through for my predictions as both Marvin Harrison Jr and Malik Nabers delivered big performances against their respective opponents. Harrison Jr's two touchdowns, for example, were just what the doctor ordered for fantasy managers who drafted him on the high side during their drafts. Daniel Jones and the Giants coaches did the smart thing and directed targets to the guy they drafted to be the main weapon. Hopefully, they keep that going.

But that's enough of that. On to Week 3!

Diontae Johnson cracks 15 PPR fantasy points against the Las Vegas Raiders

The Panthers have made a change at quarterback, benching Bryce Young For Andy Dalton. While the move doesn't inspire more wins for the Panthers, it could push their starting skill players up a few notches from the depths of the abyss. Dalton can at least get the ball to his guys. Johnson is averaging just 4.2 FPPG so far and Dalton is going to have to show he can still throw the ball if he wants to keep the starting spot. The Raiders are giving up nearly 29 FPPG heading into Week 3.

Zamir White goes for 75 yards vs. CAR

For whatever reason, Zamir White has been criminally underused to start the season. His carries dropped from 13 to 9 as Alexander Mattison continues to carve out touches in the Raiders backfield. But White has a chance to re-assert himself in the Raiders backfield against a vulnerable Panthers defense. The Panthers are giving up 4.9 y/a to opposing running backs. White is averaging just 3.1 y/a so far this season. White needs more attempts but with the Panthers allowing the second-most rushing yards, it could be now or never.

Will Levis throws two passing touchdowns in Week 3

As a Will Levis truther, it's hard to admit that his start has not been pretty so far. Untimely turnovers are plaguing Levi's production, and he heads into Week 3 with a 2:3 touchdown to interception ratio. Levis has shown some improvements as his completion percentage jumped up from 59. 4% to nearly 68% over his first two games. The Packers have been weak against the pass, currently allowing the seventh-most passing yards at 232/g. The Packers have also allowed the seventh-most passing touchdowns.

Tank Dell leads all Texans WRs in receiving yards vs. MIN

Tank Dell Is another fantasy player that hasn't gotten off to a great start. Dell is still being involved in the offense, seeing 12 targets over the last two games. Dell and quarterback CJ Stroud are trying to get that connection back and it's only a matter of time until they do. Dell was one of Stroud's favorite targets last season before the injury. The Vikings rank right behind the Packers in passing yards allowed at 460 heading into Week 3. Lead wide receiver Nico Collins is a little dinged up right now so maybe that could lead to more opportunities for Dell this week.
