Chicago Bears rookie tight end Adam Shaheen (chest) is inactive for Week 17 against the Vikings. Shaheen's rookie season comes to an end missing the final three games of the season. He finishes with 12 receptions for 127 yards and three touchdowns. It doesn't seem like much, but Shaheen exceeded expectations as a safety valve in the red zone for rookie quarterback Mitch Trubisky in the middle of the season. Shaheen has upside, but he'll probably be more of a touchdown-dependent, high-end TE2 again in 2018 with the Bears offense rebuilding. Dion Sims will be the main tight end to close out the year, but he isn't on the fantasy radar.
