New York Giants rookie wide receiver Dalen Cambre worked with the starting offense during the team's first padded practice on Monday, according to Dan Duggan of The Athletic. An undrafted free agent out of Louisiana, Cambre had just 10 catches for 123 yards across his five-year collegiate career but is known as an ace special-teams player. Duggan notes that Cambre's offensive work came when Giants wide receivers Jalen Hyatt (cramps) and Wan'Dale Robinson (quad) were both sidelined due to injuries, so it's possible that he was simply the next man up. With wide receiver Bryce Ford-Wheaton (Achilles) lost for the season due to an Achilles tear, Cambre has a path towards earning a roster spot.
