Ravens Sign Kedon Slovis to Active Roster

Baltimore added quarterback Kedon Slovis to its active roster, signing him off the Green Bay practice squad. The signing gives the Ravens another QB option for Thursday night as Lamar Jackson (thumb) is out and Tyler Huntley (turf toe) is also dealing with an injury. Joe Fagnano (ankle) had been the team's third QB, but is also dealing with an ailment. Fagnano, Austin Reed and Slovis are now the top quarterback options for the team's Week 9 Thursday game against Jacksonville. Fagnano completed 10 of his 21 passes in Week 8 for 91 yards, no touchdowns and an interception - he had three rushing yards on three attempts. Slovis got in two regular games while with Arizona in 2025, but attempted just two passes. Reed was signed to the team's practice squad on Monday - he has only appeared in preseason games so far.

Kedon Slovis Throws Touchdown In Hall of Fame Game

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kedon Slovis was effective in relief of starter Carson Beck in Thursday's 33-30 loss to the Panthers. Slovis went 9-for-10 for 106 passing yards and one touchdown after taking over in the third quarter of the preseason opener. Slovis' one-yard touchdown pass to Bryson Green just inside the two-minute warning gave the Cardinals a late lead that was ultimately nullified by the Panthers' ensuing touchdown drive to close the game. Slovis, an undrafted free agent in 2025, was on the Cardinals' practice squad last year and was on the active roster for two games. He is at the bottom of Arizona's depth chart and does not pose a real threat to those ahead of him. Slovis' next opportunity to showcase his talents will come on August 13 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Cardinals Sign Kedon Slovis Off of the Practice Squad

The Arizona Cardinals signed quarterback Kedon Slovis off of the practice squad on Saturday. The 24-year-old has bounced around the league, suiting up for various practice squads in the last few years. While the signing won't directly impact fantasy managers, it could mean that Kyler Murray (foot), who is still questionable, won't be out there in Week 6 versus the Indianapolis Colts. However, it's still too early to speculate. If Murray ends up suiting up on Sunday, Slovis may still stick around as an emergency quarterback. On the other hand, Jacoby Brissett is in line to start if Murray gets ruled out. Either way, Slovis isn't worth adding to any fantasy roster.
