Is Tucker Kraft An Overrated Fantasy Asset Heading Into Week 6?

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft has had a solid start to his second season as the full-time starting tight end for the Packers, but is he a bit overrated for fantasy football? In Week 4, when Jordan Love had 43 pass attempts, Kraft could only manage five targets with five receptions for 56 yards. Kraft has been fine this season and perhaps has been propped up by his monster 6-124-1 game in Week 2. Besides that game, Kraft has averaged just four targets, three receptions, 34 yards outside of Week 2. What's additionally concerning is that his per-route metrics are starting to slide. In Week 1, Kraft earned a target on 22.2 percent of his routes run, but that percentage has slipped to 21 percent, 17 percent, and in Week 4, 13 percent. Kraft is what he is: a volatile boom-or-bust option with an inconsistent target-earning profile. You can start Kraft in good fantasy matchups and hope he gets into the end zone in bad matchups. This week is a good matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, so Kraft is a fine start. Just know that while the ceiling is very high, Kraft's fantasy points floor is shockingly low.

Tucker Kraft: Must-Start Tight End in Week 4

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft has recorded 11 catches for 169 yards and two touchdowns on 15 targets through three games so far in 2025. The third-year tight end could be well set up for success in Week 4, as he'll face a Dallas Cowboys' defense that has been one of the worst in the NFL this season. Dallas ranks last in the NFL in yards allowed per pass attempt (9.8) and has allowed the second-most passing touchdowns in the league (seven). Kraft is currently the lead target-earner on the Packers. If Green Bay does have success through the air on Sunday, it could mean a huge game for Kraft. He profiles as a must-start fantasy tight end in Week 4 against the Cowboys.

Tucker Kraft off the Injury Report After Full Practice

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (knee/elbow) is officially off the injury report and does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's contest against the Dallas Cowboys. Kraft suffered this knee injury leading up to their game last weekend against the Cleveland Browns. While he was able to suit up, Kraft did not make a significant impact on the score sheet, catching just three of his four targets for 29 yards. This week, Kraft remained limited on Wednesday and Thursday but was able to log a full session during Friday's final practice. Despite his quiet showing last weekend, Kraft enjoyed a career outing in Week 2, catching six passes for 124 yards and a score. Given his role as a top target for Jordan Love, Kraft carries high-end must-start TE1 value facing the Cowboys.

Tucker Kraft has Limited Practice Session on Wednesday

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (elbow, knee) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice session. Kraft is dealing with multiple injuries right now, so it's not shocking to see him limited to begin the week. Kraft suffered a knee injury last Thursday and still managed to suit up in Week 3. He hauled in three of his four targets for 29 yards in the loss to the Cleveland Browns. The fact Kraft is limited on Wednesday shouldn't concern fantasy managers. The Packers are likely just being cautious early in the week, so there's no reason to believe Kraft will be absent against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4.

Can You Trust Tucker Kraft To Provide TE1 Value This Season?

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft had a monster Week 2, where he put up 124 yards on six receptions with a touchdown. That performance got fantasy managers salivating over the potential of Kraft as a mid-to-high-end TE1 option this season. But did we ignore the elephant in the room: the Packers' offense? We've seen the upside of Green Bay's offense when everything is going well, but in Week 3, we may have seen the downside as they fell to the Cleveland Browns in a tough defensive slugfest. Quarterback Jordan Love threw the ball only 25 times, and nine of those targets were to running back Josh Jacobs. Kraft could only muster 29 yards on three receptions, but his mid-week knee injury that put him on the injury report could have played into that, too. Kraft is who he is: a volatile boom-or-bust option with an inconsistent volume-earning profile that you can start on good matchups and hope he gets into the end zone in bad matchups. Week 4 is one of the good matchups against Dallas, as the Cowboys have allowed the most passing yards per game this season. Fire up Kraft as a TE1 for Sunday Night Football.

Tucker Kraft Active for Week 3

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. Kraft suffered a knee injury during practice earlier in the week but was able to progress enough not to miss any action. Through the first two weeks of this season, Kraft has enjoyed a strong start as he has found the back of the end zone twice and caught eight of his 11 targets for 140 yards. Much of his yardage total in Week 2 came when he tallied 124 during their victory over the Washington Commanders. Despite his injury, fantasy managers should feel confident starting Kraft in all formats as a high-end TE1, as he should remain a top target in the passing game for Jordan Love.

Tucker Kraft Likely To Play In Week 3

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) is expected to play in Week 3 against the Cleveland Browns, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. The third-year tight end had quite the scare this week, sustaining the injury during practice on Thursday and missing practice Friday, but appears to have dodged anything serious. Kraft has been excellent so far this season, compiling eight catches for 140 yards and two touchdowns across the first two games, but it remains to be seen what kind of usage he'll actually see come game time on Sunday. Due to the injury and a matchup against a strong Cleveland defense, managers will have a decision to make about starting Kraft or another tight end.

Tucker Kraft Questionable for Week 3

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of the Week 3 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. Kraft suffered a knee injury during Thursday's practice and as a result he won't suit up for Friday's practice. Head coach Matt LaFleur doesn't believe Kraft will go to the injured reserve, but he's unsure if Kraft will be ready to go in time for Sunday's game. His absence would mean Luke Musgrave becomes the starting tight end in Green Bay. Musgrave is an interesting streaming option with the Packers shorthanded on offensive weapons. They will also be without Jayden Reed (shoulder), so Musgrave could be asked to pick up the slack if Kraft is so sidelined. Fantasy managers should check back for another update on Kraft, but they should get another tight end prepared just in case.

Tucker Kraft Not Expected to Practice on Friday

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said he doesn't think tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) will practice on Friday, according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. The Packers are non-committal on Kraft's status for Week 3 against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday after he tweaked his knee in practice on Thursday. The good news is that Kraft avoided a long-term injury, and LaFleur doesn't think he'll go on Injured Reserve, which would knock him out for at least four games. If Kraft doesn't practice on Friday, he probably won't be active this Sunday, so fantasy managers need to make backup plans now if he's your only tight end on roster. Backup Luke Musgrave will be on the streaming radar if Kraft doesn't play, especially with receivers Jayden Reed (collarbone, foot) and Christian Watson (knee) out. Check back later to see if Kraft is officially ruled out for Week 3.

Tucker Kraft's Week 3 Status "At Least Somewhat Clouded"

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft's (knee) status for Week 3 against the Cleveland Browns is "at least somewhat clouded," according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Kraft suffered a knee injury during practice on Thursday. However, Pelissero confirms initial reporting from the team that the knee injury is not expected to result in a long-term absence. Kraft is coming off a breakout Week 2 performance against the Washington Commanders, where he recorded six catches for 124 yards and a touchdown. If he is unable to play in Week 3, Packers tight end Luke Musgrave would be in line for an increase in snaps. The outlook for Packers wide receivers Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks, and Matthew Golden could improve as well, as all would likely be in line for an increase in targets.

Tucker Kraft Suffers "Little Knee Tweak," Checks Out OK

Updating a previous report, Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) suffered a "little knee tweak" in practice on Thursday, a source told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Kraft checked out OK after the injury scare. It's still a bit unclear if Kraft is in danger of missing the Week 3 contest this Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, but it sounds like the Packers and Kraft's fantasy managers dodged a bullet. The 24-year-old broke out in the Week 2 win over the Washington Commanders last Thursday night with 124 receiving yards and a touchdown. If Kraft is available this weekend, he's a must-start, high-end TE1, especially with receivers Jayden Reed (foot, collarbone) and Christian Watson (knee) out. Through two weeks, Kraft is the fantasy TE1 with eight grabs for 140 yards and two scores. If he's out in Week 3, Luke Musgrave would immediately become a TE1 streaming option against Cleveland.

Tucker Kraft Suffers Knee Injury During Thursday's Practice

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) suffered a knee injury during Thursday's practice, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Rapoport noted that Kraft will undergo a full evaluation, but the team believes it is not a long-term injury. Kraft has emerged as Jordan Love's top target in the passing game with Jayden Reed (collarbone) sidelined. In Week 2, Kraft enjoyed his breakout game during their victory over the Washington Commanders as he caught six of his seven targets for 124 yards and a score. In Week 1, Kraft caught two of his four targets for 16 yards and a touchdown. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to his status, as he would be a significant loss for the Green Bay offense. If he were to sit out on Sunday, rookie Matthew Golden, Dontayvion Wicks, and Romeo Doubs should see a larger target share.

Tucker Kraft Even More Reliable as a TE1 Going into Week 3

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft was a popular fantasy breakout candidate entering the 2025 season, and he's well on his way through the first two weeks of the season. Kraft has scored in back-to-back weeks to kick things off while catching eight of his 11 targets for 140 yards in wins against the Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders. In Thursday night's 27-18 victory over Washington, the 24-year-old had six receptions for 124 yards and a touchdown on seven targets. It was his first career 100-yard game, and through two weeks, he's the TE1 in fantasy. Kraft led the Packers in catches, receiving yards, and targets in Week 2 and will only be more involved in Green Bay's passing attack after receiver Jayden Reed suffered a broken collarbone on Thursday night. Keep Kraft locked in your fantasy lineups as a strong TE1 going into Week 3 versus the Cleveland Browns.

Tucker Kraft Posts Huge Performance on Thursday

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft posted an excellent performance during Thursday's game against the Washington Commanders. Kraft was quiet with a 16-yard performance in the season opener, but looked unstoppable here. He hauled in six of his seven targets for 124 yards and one touchdown in the win. It was his first career 100-yard game as he also led the team in receptions, receiving yards, and targets. It's worth noting that the departure of Jayden Reed (shoulder) likely contributed to Kraft's increase in usage. The status of Reed for Week 3 should have some impact on Kraft's value for that one. Regardless, Kraft is looking like an appealing option for that Week 3 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.

Tucker Kraft Is A Solid Tight End Start For Week 2 Against Commanders

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft scored in Week 1 and looks to make it back-to-back scoring weeks as the Packers host the Washington Commanders in Week 2. Kraft scored on a 15-yard pass from quarterback Jordan Love to kick off the scoring for the Packers in Week 1. Other than that score, the 24-year-old only caught one more pass for one yard on an additional three targets. The Packers' pass-catchers are heavily reliant on touchdowns rather than target volume, but no pass-catcher saw the field and ran more routes than Kraft did with 92 percent route participation in Week 1. For Week 2 against the Commanders, Kraft is a decent TE1 fantasy play with the hopes that the Packers get pushed by the Commanders on the offensive end.

Tucker Kraft Plays Majority Of First-Team Snaps in Preseason Opener

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft played the majority of snaps on the Packers' first two series in the Green Bay preseason opener against the New York Jets. While Kraft didn't earn a target from quarterback Jordan Love, he played on 10-of-12 offensive snaps per Nathan Jahnke of Pro Football Focus. Kraft's night was over after the first-team offense left the field after the second drive. Kraft's second NFL season was excellent with 50 receptions, 707 receiving yards and seven touchdowns while playing in all 17 games. As the clear top tight end on the Packers in 2025, Kraft's services can be procured in fantasy for a mid-round pick and could provide massive benefits if he can take a leap in production this season.

Tucker Kraft Back on the Field on Tuesday

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (groin) is back at Tuesday's training camp practice after missing time with a groin injury. Kraft took a step forward in Year 2 in 2024 with 50 catches on 70 targets for 707 yards and seven touchdowns in 17 regular-season games for the Packers. The 24-year-old could have an even bigger role in the passing game in his third NFL season, making him a popular breakout candidate in 2025 at a weak position in fantasy. There are a lot of receivers vying for targets in Green Bay with receiver Christian Watson (knee) potentially missing half the season, but if Kraft is utilized more downfield, he should be a lock to finish among the top-10 TEs in total fantasy points. There's a lot to like about Kraft's yards-after-the-catch ability, as he produced an average of 9.6 YAC last year, which led all tight ends.

Tucker Kraft Battling Groin Issue

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (groin) sat out of Saturday's practice while dealing with an injury. Head coach Matt LaFleur said they plan to give Kraft a few days to get over his groin injury. It doesn't sound like Kraft is going to miss significant time, so fantasy managers should consider this a day-to-day issue. Luke Musgrave figures to operate as the No. 1 tight end until Kraft is back. Kraft has been impressive enough that a few missed practices won't hurt his status as the starter in Green Bay. Fantasy managers should check back later in the week for another update on his status.

Packers Looking to Expand Tucker Kraft's Role

The Green Bay Packers are searching for ways to expand tight end Tucker Kraft's role in the passing game, according to Mark Oldacres of Packers Wire. Kraft took a step forward in his second season in 2024, recording 50 catches for 707 yards and seven touchdowns. However, Oldacres notes that 101 of his 118 career targets have been either behind the line of scrimmage or in the short area (zero to 10 yards). Heading into 2025, the coaching staff in Green Bay is working on how to get Kraft more involved down the field. Between Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks, and rookies Matthew Golden and Savion Williams, the Packers have a deep group of wide receivers, but none of them are cemented as a true go-to target for quarterback Jordan Love. If Kraft can grab hold of a larger share of the pass-game volume in Green Bay, he's talented enough to be a difference-making fantasy tight end.

Tucker Kraft Gets Praise from Coaching Staff

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft is a player to keep an eye on as the summer rolls on. Recently, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur gave high praise to the third-year tight end. LaFleur said Kraft is an ascending player and that he has been putting the work in all summer long. Kraft is coming off a season where he posted 50 receptions, 707 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns in 17 games with the Packers in 2024. He was a part-time starter during his rookie year but took over as the full-time starter last season. Clearly, the coaching staff believes in him, so hopefully there are more good things to come from Kraft this upcoming season.
