This was the third-year receiver's first touchdown since his Week 7 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Puka Nacua, Cooper Kupp, and Demarcus Robinson all play ahead of and have been much more involved in the offense than Atwell. Heading into next season, the 24-year-old should not be considered in drafts unless playing in an extremely deep fantasy league.

The 24-year-old had far from his best performance to close out the 2023 regular season, but the Rams ultimately won and stayed healthy on Sunday. He's a cheap DFS dart throw against the Detroit Lions in the playoffs this week, but he's not worth consideration in playoff fantasy leagues.

Atwell suffered a concussion in last week's overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens but apparently has responded well and could clear the league's protocols in time to play on Sunday. The 24-year-old former second-round selection is having a fine year for the Rams in 2023 with 37 catches for 476 yards and three touchdowns on 63 targets over 13 games, but he hasn't scored since Week 7 and is hard to trust in fantasy lineups as long as both Cooper Kupp and rookie Puka Nacua are healthy. Atwell has cleared 21 receiving yards just once in the last six games for the Rams. If he's out in Week 15, Demarcus Robinson would serve as LA's No. 3 receiver.

It's unclear if the 2021 second-round pick has passed each step of the concussion protocol, however, so an update from Rams practice on Friday could paint a clearer picture on his Week 15 game status. Atwell enjoyed a hot start to the campaign with at least eight targets in each of his first four dates but has cooled off considerably with Cooper Kupp back in the mix, leaving him off most fantasy radars as a WR5 dependent on big plays in this favorable matchup. Demarcus Robinson, who turned 10 targets into 46 yards and a touchdown last Sunday, remains worthy of a roster spot until Atwell's status is settled.

It was a nice bounce-back performance after he caught just one pass for 17 yards in the Week 11 win over the Seattle Seahawks. Cooper Kupp and rookie Puka Nacua were targeted a combined 13 times, but they managed just seven receptions for 45 yards and no touchdowns in Week 12. The 24-year-old Atwell will continue to see looks as LA's No. 3 wideout, but he's going to need to make big plays down the field like he did this Sunday to capitalize for fantasy managers in deeper leagues. Kupp tweaked his ankle and didn't look 100% against Arizona, so if his injury continues to slow him down, Atwell could benefit.

The speedy receiver out of Louisville has caught 17 of his 26 targets for 246 receiving yards and is the overall WR11 through the first three weeks of the season. Atwell faces a struggling Indianapolis Colts' secondary this week and has a great opportunity to continue this level of playing. He is a strong WR2 option and has a moderately safe floor in Week 4.
