1. Philip Rivers, QB (Los Angeles Chargers)
Philip Rivers is a week removed from disappointing fantasy owners after scoring only 11.0 fantasy points against the Packers last week. This performance dropped him down to QB16 on the year and, while fantasy managers may be resistant to start him again this week, they should reconsider him as Rivers has a great matchup. This week Rivers plays the Raiders who are giving up an average of 24.4 fantasy points to opposing QBs. Rivers may not see a better matchup this year and was unfortunate to not throw any touchdowns last week after passing for 294 yards. Rivers could easily score 20+ fantasy points in this matchup and is a good bye week replacement for Brady, Watson, and Wentz owners.
