Aaron Rodgers Should Be Avoided Against Vikings

Friday, September 26, 6:30 PM

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is 2-1 with seven touchdowns through his first three games but will face his toughest test yet against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4. Minnesota has surrendered the third-fewest fantasy points and just three total touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks this season. While it's fair to note that the Vikings haven't faced a proven signal-caller yet, the Steelers' offense hasn't looked particularly sharp, especially over the past two weeks. Rodgers and his pass-catchers did show signs of life last week against the Patriots, but the 41-year-old still finished with only 139 passing yards in the victory. Although this international matchup in Dublin, Ireland, should be interesting, it isn't projected to be a high-scoring affair. That said, fantasy managers should avoid starting Rodgers as anything more than a low-end QB2 in superflex formats.

Justin Fields Cleared to Play, Will Start in Week 4

Saturday, September 27, 11:31 AM

New York Jets quarterback Justin Fields (concussion) has cleared protocol and will start on Monday Night Football against the Miami Dolphins. Fields exited early in Week 2 and missed Week 3, but he is fully removed for Week 4 and set to return. The matchup could not be better. Miami has allowed the second-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season, and Fields has already shown he can thrive against this defense. In his only career meeting with the Dolphins, he exploded for 178 rushing yards and four total touchdowns, finishing with 40.7 fantasy points. With the Jets still searching for their first win, Fields is positioned for a high-upside QB1 performance in Week 4.
