Aaron Rodgers Offering Safe Floor, But What is His Ceiling?

Tuesday, November 4, 6:32 PM

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 25 of his 35 pass attempts for 203 yards and a touchdown in a Week 9 win over the Indianapolis Colts. Although this marked his fifth consecutive game surpassing 200 passing yards, the veteran's performance was modest for fantasy purposes. This matchup was expected to be high-scoring, but Pittsburgh's defense stepped up after allowing 30-plus points in back-to-back weeks. With the Steelers leading 24-7 early in the fourth quarter, Rodgers didn't need to do much to close things out. He'll provide more fantasy value in tighter contests, though predicting when those will come could be challenging. The 41-year-old remains a high-floor QB2 in superflex leagues ahead of a Week 10 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Lamar Jackson Strikes for Four Touchdowns in First Game Back

Friday, October 31, 12:17 AM

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson completed 18 of his 23 pass attempts for 204 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions during Thursday's Week 9 win over the Miami Dolphins. He also rushed for 14 yards. Jackson returned from a multi-week absence caused by a hamstring injury, and he picked up right where he left off. The star quarterback didn't rush as much as he usually does, but he continued to demonstrate impressive accuracy while turning in his second four-touchdown game of the season. Jackson now has 15 touchdowns and just two turnovers through five games. He remains a high-end QB1 heading into next week's clash with the Minnesota Vikings.
