Adam Thielen News
Wednesday, January 14, 1:25 PM
Wide receiver Adam Thielen announced his retirement from professional football on social media on Wednesday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Thielen played 13 years in the NFL and was a two-time Pro Bowler with the Minnesota Vikings. The 35-year-old originally went undrafted before latching on with the Vikings in 2014. He played 10 years in Minnesota before two years with the Carolina Panthers in 2023 and 2024. Thielen began the 2025 campaign with the Vikings before latching on with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He had 19 receptions for 186 yards and no touchdowns during the regular season in 16 games with Minnesota and Pittsburgh. Thielen will wrap up his NFL career with 704 catches for 8,497 yards and 64 touchdowns in 178 regular-season games played. His two Pro Bowl seasons came in back-to-back years with the Vikings in 2017 and 2018.

Brian Thomas Jr. News
Tuesday, August 25, 8:12 AM
Updating a previous report, Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Coen said that he thinks wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (shoulder) will be "alright" after he was shaken up following a catch during team periods at training camp practice on Tuesday, according to Jaguars reporter Mia O'Brien. It sounds like the Jaguars held Thomas out of the rest of team drills as a precaution to make sure that he will be good to go for the Week 1 regular-season opener against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Sept. 13. The 23-year-old could miss some practice time moving forward and probably will not suit up for the team's preseason finale this Friday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he should be ready to roll for the start of the 2026 season in early September. BTJ and the other Jags receivers have been overshadowed this summer by Parker Washington, but Thomas has also stood out as he looks to bounce back following a disappointing sophomore season in which he caught 48 passes for 707 yards and only two touchdowns following a 1,000-yard season and 10 TDs as a rookie. Thomas could end up being an excellent value pick in fantasy drafts as a WR3/flex in 2026.
