Allen Robinson II Quiet In Week 2 Win

Tuesday, September 19, 12:14 PM

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Allen Robinson II secured two of his three targets for 12 yards in a 26-22 victory against the Cleveland Browns. Robinson, who led the team in targets and receiving yards in Week 1, was expected to see additional opportunities with Diontae Johnson (hamstring) sidelined in Week 2, but the veteran was unable to make an impact on Monday night. Pittsburgh's inefficient offense certainly didn't do him any favors as the team turned the ball over or punted on nine of its 14 possessions. Although Robinson should continue to operate as the Steelers' WR2 for at least the next three games with Johnson on Injured Reserve, it's difficult to project him for any worthwhile fantasy production. The 30-year-old will hope to be more involved in a Week 3 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Adam Thielen A Decent Option In Week 3

Thursday, September 21, 7:47 PM

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Adam Thielen turned in a productive game for his team in a Week 2 loss, catching seven of nine targets for 54 yards and a touchdown. Thielen will look to find the end zone again in a Week 3 road matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks represent a plus matchup for Thielen as they are allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers through the first two games of the season. The Panthers may be forced to start Andy Dalton in Week 3 as Bryce Young is dealing with an ankle injury, but that could be a positive for Thielen as the Panthers' passing attack is ranked last in the league through two games with Young under center. Thielen is on the board as a WR4 heading into Week 3.
