Breece Hall News

Jets to Revisit Extension Talks With Breece Hall After the Draft

Monday, March 30, 6:49 PM

New York Jets general manager Darren Mougey said on Monday that he hopes to revisit contract-extension talks with franchise-tagged running back Breece Hall after the NFL draft in late April, per SNY. "Things are in a good place. I'm hopeful with Breece," Mougey said. Hall has not signed his franchise tag, but the two sides have until mid-July to work out a long-term extension. Despite a bad offense in 2025, the 24-year-old had the best year of his career with 1,065 rushing yards and four touchdowns on a career-high 243 rushing attempts over 16 games played. Hall added 36 receptions for 350 yards and another touchdown through the air. Fantasy managers in dynasty setups are hoping that Hall cannot work a long-term deal out with the Jets and he becomes a free agent again next year. For at least one more year with Gang Green, Hall will be a volume-based RB2 in what is expected to be another frustrating offensive situation with veteran QB Geno Smith running the show.

Brian Robinson Jr. News

Falcons to Sign Brian Robinson Jr.

Tuesday, March 24, 10:23 AM

The Atlanta Falcons are expected to sign former San Francisco 49ers running back Brian Robinson Jr. to an undisclosed deal, sources told Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports. Robinson has over 2,700 rushing yards, 612 receiving yards, and 22 total touchdowns in his four NFL seasons with the 49ers and Washington Commanders. The 27-year-old former third-round pick by Washington in 2022 out of Alabama had a career-low 92 rushing attempts for 400 yards and two touchdowns in 17 regular-season games in 2025 as the primary backup behind workhorse Christian McCaffrey. In his three years with the Commanders, Robinson had over 700 rushing yards each season and also totaled 15 rushing touchdowns while averaging 4.1 yards per carry. He will effectively replace Tyler Allgeier as the No. 2 in Atlanta behind Bijan Robinson, although fantasy managers shouldn't expect him to be quite as productive as Allgeier was in a No. 2 role. The Falcons are expected to give Bijan the lion's share of the backfield touches in 2026.
