Breece Hall News

Breece Hall Still on Track for Week 1

Monday, August 24, 9:52 AM

New York Jets running back Breece Hall continues to make progress from the groin injury he suffered last week. Antwan V. Staley reports that Hall is moving well, and head coach Aaron Glenn still anticipates having him ready for Week 1 against Tennessee. Hall went down during practice on Aug. 17 and was given a two-to-three-week recovery timetable the following day. So far, nothing has changed that expectation. The 25-year-old is coming off his first 1,000-yard rushing season, finishing 2025 with 243 carries for a career-high 1,065 yards and four touchdowns. He also caught 36 passes for 350 yards and another score. There is still time before the opener, and the Jets don't appear to have any reason to rush him through the final stretch of August. For now, Hall remains on schedule to be available when the games start counting.

De'Von Achane News

De'Von Achane Bringing Consistency to New-Look Dolphins Offense

Wednesday, August 26, 5:25 AM

Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane was one of the few holdovers of a near-total offseason overhaul to the team's starting offense, and unsurprisingly, he has been one of Miami's most consistent performers throughout training camp, according to team writer Travis Wingfield. In the Dolphins' penultimate practice of camp on Tuesday, Achane successfully led the starting unit with a handful of explosive runs, and offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik was later asked what he likes about the team's run game. "The versatility of what our personnel allows us to do," he said. "You can get on the perimeter; you can get on the edge... You can do stuff with [Malik Willis] in the run game. Obviously, [Achane] has speed to get to the edge. He can hit it up in the middle as well." The only running back in the NFL to score double-digit fantasy points in every one of his games in 2025, Achane is once more expected to be the focal point of the Dolphins' offense, and he is RotoBaller's RB11.
