Colby Parkinson a Viable Fantasy Streamer Against Detroit

Saturday, December 13, 12:07 AM

Los Angeles Rams tight end Colby Parkinson has been one of the biggest fantasy risers within the last month or so. Over his last five games, he has 17 catches, 155 yards, and four touchdowns, ranking as the overall TE4 in half-PPR leagues during that span. He has filled in quite admirably for Tyler Higbee (ankle), and he should continue to remain heavily involved as a top target for Matthew Stafford in his Week 15 revenge game against the Detroit Lions. At worst, Parkinson will be third in the pecking order this week behind Puka Nacua and Davante Adams (hamstring). However, Adams is listed as questionable, so if he doesn't suit up, Parkinson would likely be the No. 2 target in this high-volume passing offense. He currently ranks as the TE19 in this week's RotoBaller fantasy rankings, and he has top-12 upside. Parkinson is a solid fantasy streamer in leagues with at least 12 teams.

John Bates News

John Bates, Ben Sinnott Both Cleared To Face Eagles

Friday, January 24, 6:03 PM

Washington Commanders tight ends John Bates (shoulder) and Ben Sinnott (shoulder) were both removed from Friday's final injury report and will be available on Sunday for the NFC Championship against the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles. Zach Ertz (rib) will also be active after practicing in full on Thursday and Friday, so neither Bates nor Sinnott are realistic DFS options for fantasy managers this weekend. The 27-year-old Bates has played through a shoulder injury in both postseason games but has only one catch on three targets for 20 yards to show for it. He had eight grabs on 13 targets for 84 yards and no scores in 17 regular-season games (six starts). Sinnott, meanwhile, has not even been targeted in two playoff games and caught all five of his targets for 28 yards and one touchdown in his first 17 NFL games during the regular season.
