Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that wide receiver Cooper Kupp (hamstring) will return to practice next week as the team activates his 21-day window to return from Injured Reserve. The Rams are still holding out hope that Kupp can make his 2023 debut in Week 5 against the Philadelphia Eagles, but we won't have a better idea of whether that is realistic or not until the 30-year-old resumes practicing. Kupp was a first-round pick in most fantasy drafts, so those that took him will surely hope he'll be back next week and pick up where he left off as quarterback Matthew Stafford's top target. How Kupp's return will affect the roles of rookie Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell is yet to be seen, but they will inevitably have lower fantasy ceilings if Kupp his healthy.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith caught seven of nine targets for 78 yards during the team's 34-31 overtime win over the Washington Commanders. The 24-year-old has been much quieter over the past few weeks compared to his hot two-game start. However, Smith's target share rose to nine this week, his second most of the season, as the Eagles needed to play up-tempo and pass often with an underwhelming performance from their defense. The 78 yards were the second-most the third-year receiver has posted through four games. Smith will continue to be a solid WR2 option for fantasy managers, even against a better-than-advertised Los Angeles Rams defense next week.
