Green Bay Packers running back Emanuel Wilson hasn't been able to do much damage as the backup this season. Wilson did rush for 54 yards in Week 6, but since then Wilson has been held to 16 yards over the last two games. The 25-year-old hasn't seen the field much lately with Josh Jacobs (ankle) healthy. There was some concern over Jacobs' status earlier in the week, but he appears to be good to go for Week 9 against the Detroit Lions. That being said, Wilson will remain the backup and isn't worth rostering in most redraft formats. He's worth a stash in deep leagues or dynasty formats because he'd likely become the starter if anything happens to Jacobs.

Green Bay Packers running back Emanuel Wilson has been quiet over the last few weeks. Wilson has been held to under 30 rushing yards in each of his last two games. The good news is that Wilson has seen six of more carries in each of the last three games. He continues to be the primary backup to Josh Jacobs and that figures to remain the same for the Week 6 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. Wilson hasn't done much to warrant starting in most fantasy formats, but is someone worth stashing as he'll be the next man up if Jacobs ever goes down.

Green Bay Packers running back Emanuel Wilson wasn't able to do much damage against the Minnesota Vikings last week. The 25-year-old rushed eight times for 27 yards as the primary backup to Josh Jacobs. This was a disappointing outing for Wilson after a 50-yard performance in Week 3. The assumption is that Wilson should continue to remain involved during the upcoming Week 5 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. However, Wilson will have a limited ceiling as the backup to Jacobs, so fantasy managers should be able to find a more viable option elsewhere.

Green Bay Packers running back Emanuel Wilson is coming off his best performance of the season during last week's win over the Tennessee Titans. Wilson rushed 12 times for 50 yards while hauling in two passes for an additional 25 yards with a touchdown as well. It's nice to see Wilson getting more involved after seeing only nine carries through the first two games of the season. Possibly, the Packers will trust him with a bigger role going forward. However, Josh Jacobs will remain the clear lead back in this offense, which is going to limit Wilson's upside. Wilson is worth rostering in deep and dynasty formats but probably not worth starting against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4.

Green Bay Packers running back Emanuel Wilson turned a quality game for the Packers in their 30-14 victory against the Tennessee Titans in Week 3. Wilson led the running backs in rushing yards with 50 on 12 carries, while bringing in both targets for 35 yards and a touchdown. Wilson's touchdown came on a screen pass where he weaved his way behind his blockers and then used his speed to scamper 30 yards for the touchdown. With MarShawn Lloyd (ankle) placed on injured reserve, Wilson is the primary backup behind Josh Jacobs. The Packers have employed a run-heavy approach in the last couple of games with Malik Willis installed as quarterback. Wilson has standalone value in deeper fantasy leagues for Week 4 against Minnesota but is more of a contingency fantasy play in case something happens to Jacobs. That said, if Wilson continues to siphon off more work from Jacobs in the Packers' backfield, Wilson could be a sneaky startable fantasy option.

Green Bay Packers running back Emanuel Wilson took a backseat last week with rookie MarShawn Lloyd (ankle) getting into the mix. Wilson only saw five carries for nine yards in the win over the Indianapolis Colts. However, he figures to take a slightly larger workload with Lloyd headed to the injured reserve. Wilson put together a decent performance during the season opener, but there won't be a significant workload for him with Josh Jacobs healthy. That being said, Wilson is worth stashing in deep leagues or dynasty formats, but isn't a reliable starting option for Week 3.

Green Bay Packers running back Emanuel Wilson was the primary backup behind Josh Jacobs during the season opener. The 25-year-old did well as he rushed for 46 yards on four yards with two receptions as well. It was a decent outing given his fairly small workload, which could be reduced even more in Week 2. Fellow back MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) is expected to suit up against the Indianapolis Colts this weekend. He figures to be in the mix as well behind Jacobs, which means there probably won't be much fantasy value from Wilson or Lloyd. Both backs are going to play second fiddle to Jacobs who is the workhorse back in Green Bay. The other two backs could be worth stashing in deep leagues, but they aren't worth starting right now.

Green Bay Packers running back Emanuel Wilson (hip) is listed on the team's first official injury report on Tuesday and was given a limited tag at practice. Wilson should be able to suit up for the Week 1 regular-season opener this Friday in Brazil against the Philadelphia Eagles, but his status will be worth watching later in the week. The 25-year-old's status is worth watching even closer, considering that rookie MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) didn't practice on Tuesday, although he's still expected to be fine to play in Week 1. Wilson will have a bigger role in his second year in the league with AJ Dillon (neck) out for the year, but he's currently the RB3 in Green Bay and should be on the waiver wire in standard 12-team leagues to kick off the year. Wilson had only 14 carries but gained 85 yards in seven games in his rookie campaign last year, also catching four passes for 23 yards.

Green Bay Packers running back Emanuel Wilson has an excellent chance to open the season as the team's second-string running back behind Josh Jacobs. Per their depth chart, Wilson is listed as the Packers' third-string back. However, with rookie MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) missing time, the door is open for Wilson to take on a more significant role. Green Bay is scheduled to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in their regular season opener next Friday night. Unless there is an update on the rookie's status, Wilson will open the season as the second to receive carries out of the backfield. Though the second-year undrafted free agent hasn't received much workload thus far in his NFL career, he has run well when given the chance. Fantasy managers should keep him on their radar for now, as although he may not garner much standalone value, he would be an asset to roster if he were Jacobs' handcuff.

Packers Wire's Zach Kruse believes that Green Bay Packers running back Emanuel Wilson is likely to make the 53-man roster out of training camp with rookie RB MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) still sidelined and veteran AJ Dillon (neck) also dealing with a stinger. Wilson, who went undrafted last year out of Fort Valley State, saw only 14 carries in seven games in his rookie season for 85 rushing yards. He added four receptions for 23 yards through the air. If both Lloyd and Dillon are not ready for the Week 1 regular-season opener, there's a chance that the 25-year-old will open the year as Josh Jacobs' primary backup. Wilson is mostly a between-the-tackles weapon because of his power and burst, but don't sleep on his skills as a pass-catcher. For now, Wilson is probably only worth stashing in dynasty/keeper leagues, but that could change early in 2024, depending on the health of both Lloyd and Dillon.

Green Bay Packers No. 4 running back Emanuel Wilson continues to receive a substantial workload during the preseason. Wilson finished Sunday's game against the Broncos with 13 carries for 41 yards and one reception for 11 yards. The Packers could not get much going on offense and primarily played their backups. However, with No. 3 Packers running back MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) still out, Wilson continues to receive chances to show his skillset and show he belongs on the roster. The second-year back finished his rookie season with 14 carries for 85 yards a season ago with the Packers.
