D'Andre Swift Facing Playing Time Questions Heading into 2026

Monday, March 23, 10:59 AM

Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift posted another solid statistical season in 2025, recording 1,386 scrimmage yards and 10 touchdowns on 257 touches across 16 games. The 27-year-old may not offer incredible upside, but he's provided fantasy managers with extremely stable production in recent seasons. Dating back to 2023, Swift has played at least 16 games and recorded over 1,200 scrimmage yards with at least six touchdowns in three consecutive years. However, Swift may not be assured of the RB1 role in Chicago heading into 2026. Fellow Bears running back Kyle Monangai emerged as a trusted contributor in the team's backfield over the course of 2025. Across the team's final seven games of the regular season, neither Swift nor Monangai played more than 59% or fewer than 41% of the team's offensive snaps. A seventh-round pick in 2025, Monangai could be the team's running back of the future, while Swift will hit free agency at the conclusion of the 2026 season. Swift could easily remain a low-end starting fantasy running back in 2026, but he now faces role and playing time questions that were not present in prior years of his career.

J.K. Dobbins News

J.K. Dobbins is Fully Healthy for 2026

Tuesday, March 31, 8:27 PM

Denver Broncos general manager George Paton described running back J.K. Dobbins (left foot) as fully healthy, according to Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette. Paton added that Dobbins, who was placed on injured reserve after Week 10, could have returned for the Super Bowl, if Denver had qualified. He also explained that the veteran running back's positive presence in the locker room is a main reason why the team prioritized re-signing him this offseason. Dobbins was limited to 10 games last year, but he was productive when healthy. He finished the season with 772 rushing yards, 37 receiving yards, and four touchdowns. Moving forward, Dobbins no longer has fringe top-24 appeal at the running back position in fantasy football. His fall down the rankings can be attributed to RJ Harvey, the rookie who took over as Denver's lead running back after Dobbins went down. As the Broncos look to stay young and fresh on offense, we expect to see Harvey lead the backfield going forward. We still expect Dobbins to have a role, especially on short-yardage and goal-line work, but he's more of a boom-or-bust RB3/flex now. Managers should also take note of his injury history, as he has missed 53 games over the last five years.
