Dak Prescott News
Wednesday, August 26, 5:36 AM
At 33 years old, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is entering his 11th season, and according to team staff writer Nick Eatman, he still has the speed to make off-platform plays as needed. In the team's first local training camp practice on Tuesday night, Prescott showed off the quickness and pocket presence that have defined much of his career, twice scrambling for touchdowns while working in the red zone. While Prescott has relied less on his legs after a handful of serious injuries, last topping 250 rushing yards in 2019, his escapability and ability to keep drives alive have contributed to keeping the Cowboys' offense among the league's most potent throughout his career while making him one of the most underrated fantasy performers in recent years. When playing at least 16 games in a season, Prescott has not finished outside the top eight of the position since 2018, making him one of the safest late-round quarterbacks to target in 2026 drafts.

Lamar Jackson News
Sunday, August 23, 10:11 AM
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson spent most of last season fighting through something. A hamstring injury cost him three games, then knee, ankle and toe issues followed before a back contusion knocked him out again late in the year. The rushing numbers took the biggest hit. Jackson finished with only 349 yards and two touchdowns on 67 carries after running for 915 yards the year before. This summer has looked a lot different. Baltimore's own camp coverage has described Jackson as fully healthy and moving extremely well, while Kyle Hamilton even said it looked like he had gotten faster. The passing work has been sharp at times, too. Jackson started an August 13 practice 11-for-12 and hit Rashod Bateman for 40 yards down the sideline. He's also adjusting quickly to more snaps from under center in Declan Doyle's new offense. RotoBaller still has Jackson at QB2, so nobody is getting a discount here. What has changed is the confidence in his legs. If Jackson gets anywhere close to his normal rushing workload again, the overall QB1 ceiling is very much back in play.
