Darnell Mooney Avoids Any Injury Designation Against Chiefs

Friday, September 22, 3:43 PM

Chicago Bears wide receiver Darnell Mooney (knee) was a full participant at practice on Friday and is officially good to go for their Week 3 matchup against the Chiefs. His knee injury was believed to be minor when he left their last game against Tampa Bay and it looks like that is confirmed. He was unable to record any stats in Week 2 but did have four catches for 53 yards and a touchdown in Week 1. Even though he's healthy for this matchup, Mooney is a low-level flex play at best in deeper leagues. The Chiefs have proven to have a good defense and Justin Fields is still working through some accuracy issues.

Rashod Bateman Hauls In Three Receptions

Sunday, September 10, 8:36 PM

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman tied for the second-most targets on the team with Odell Beckham Jr. and J.K. Dobbins in the Week 1 win over the Houston Texans. The speedy wideout out of Minnesota finished with 35 yards on three catches and no scores. One of the biggest unknowns heading into this season for the Ravens was which receiver would emerge as the number-one option. Bateman wasn't the alpha this time around, but that could change if he continues to be a reliable pass-catcher. He'll look for some more opportunities against division rival Cincinnati in Week 2.
