New York Giants tight end Darren Waller caught just three of his seven targets for 20 yards in the team's 30-12 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The Giants' game plan was to get the ball out of Jones' hands quickly, and he rarely took the chance downfield to the veteran tight end. Jones' lone interception came on a target to Waller late in the fourth quarter. The former Pro Bowler will have another chance to prove himself as a top tight end option in fantasy football next Monday against the Seattle Seahawks.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. had another solid outing in the team's 22-19 overtime win against the Baltimore Ravens, hauling in nine catches for 77 yards. Pittman Jr. continues to be a favored target of both quarterbacks Gardner Minshew and Anthony Richardson, receiving double-digit targets for the third week in a row with 11. The 25-year-old receiver provides an incredibly safe floor weekly in PPR formats with his target share and has WR1 upside if he can find the end zone in upcoming matchups. He'll face a Los Angeles Rams defense in Week 4 that has been surprisingly stingy to opposing wideouts, but he can confidently be included in lineups for that contest.
Still trying to decide between Waller and Pittman Jr.? Check on the latest news to make sure both players are active and healthy. Our PPR projections show that Darren Waller is projected to score 12.4 points this week while Michael Pittman Jr. is projected to score 17.6 points.
