DeVonta Smith Ruled Out for Week 7 Against Cowboys

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring) has been ruled out for Monday night's Week 7 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, depriving quarterback Tanner McKee of his leading receiver. Smith missed all three Week 7 practices after returning from a two-game absence against the Carolina Panthers in Week 6, when he caught seven of 14 targets for 75 yards and a touchdown, and has now missed three of Philadelphia's past four games. With Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) also dealing with an injury, rookie Makai Lemon and Hollywood Brown could see additional targets against Dallas. Tight end Dallas Goedert, who has been cleared to play, is another potential beneficiary of Smith's absence.

Chase Brown Fails to Score TD in Win vs. Ravens

Cincinnati Bengals running back Chase Brown had 11 carries for 39 yards in a 35-13 win against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7. Brown is splitting his workload with fellow back Samaje Perine, who had four carries for 16 yards and a touchdown on Sunday. The Ravens' potent defense pushed quarterback Joe Burrow to air the ball out in Week 7, which further cut into Brown's workload. Cincinnati faces a weak Tennessee Titans defense its next time out, which could boost Brown's production. However, his light workload is a warning that fantasy managers may need to look elsewhere, especially after he was a bust in Week 7.
