D.J. Moore a Touchdown-Dependent WR3 vs. Commanders

Saturday, October 11, 6:39 PM

Chicago Bears wide receiver D.J. Moore has gotten off to a sluggish start this season, recording just 16 catches on 21 targets for 173 yards and one touchdown through four games. The veteran wideout appears to have ceded the WR1 role to emerging second-year star Rome Odunze, who has quickly become Caleb Williams' favorite target. Before the bye week, Williams mentioned that Moore could serve as the "Deebo Samuel" of the Bears' offense, which has fantasy managers feeling uneasy. Fortunately, the Week 6 matchup against the Washington Commanders offers some hope. Washington has surrendered the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season, providing Moore with a chance to bounce back. Still, Moore profiles as a low-end WR3 for Week 6, as his fantasy production will likely hinge on whether he finds the end zone.

Commanders Could See Return Of Terry McLaurin In Week 7

Sunday, October 12, 8:01 AM

Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin (quad) could return to the lineup in Week 7, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. The former Ohio State star is slated to miss his third consecutive game on Monday against the Chicago Bears, although it appears next week's game against the Dallas Cowboys could be in play. McLaurin has not yet had a breakout week this season after scoring a new contract, but he finished as PPR WR No. 7 last year and figures to be highly involved once back to full health.
