New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye is an intriguing fantasy option heading into Sunday's Week 3 contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Maye has looked solid through the first two games of the season, demonstrating accurate passing, moderately clean football, and rushing upside. His path to fantasy production continues to trend in the right direction this weekend. While the Steelers have been a strong defense in recent history, they have struggled to contain quarterback production this year, allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to the position. Both Justin Fields and Sam Darnold have found fantasy success against Pittsburgh, and Maye should follow in their footsteps. He's a fringe top-12 fantasy quarterback heading into Week 3.

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix has had a mediocre 2025 campaign thus far. He began the season by throwing for 176 yards, one touchdown, and two picks off 25-for-40 passing in the win over the Titans in Week 1. The signal-caller followed up that performance by tossing 206 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in the loss to the Indianapolis Colts. With the Broncos sitting at 1-1, the team will look to get back in the win column versus the Chargers. Los Angeles enters Week 3 without a loss. The Chargers limited Patrick Mahomes to only one touchdown toss in Brazil before forcing Geno Smith to throw three interceptions on Monday night. With an efficient Chargers defense on tap, fantasy managers may want to consider keeping Nix out of the lineup on Sunday, at least for those participating in single-QB leagues. On the other hand, the 25-year-old can be viewed as a starting fantasy option in SuperFlex formats, especially with so many injuries around the league at the quarterback position heading into Week 3.
