Drake Maye Has an Opportunity to Feast Against Struggling Titans

Saturday, October 18, 12:15 PM

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye has been one of the best players in the NFL lately. Meanwhile, the Tennessee Titans have been one of the toughest teams to watch, limping to a 1-5 record and firing their head coach mid-season. Therefore, we could be in for a huge game from Maye as he takes on the Titans in Week 7. The second-year quarterback has six total touchdowns and zero turnovers over his last three games, ranking as the overall QB5 so far this season. Maye should have no trouble dismantling the Titans' defense in their first game under interim head coach Mike McCoy. However, it is worth noting that the Titans have allowed the fifth-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks in 2025. This is a combination of their respectable unit and a tendency to surrender large leads to their opponents early in the game. If New England jumps out to an early lead, we could see them run the ball more. However, that's no reason to second-guess your lineup decision. Maye should still be started as a mid-range QB1 in every league.

Jaxson Dart's Rushing Prowess Faces an Elite Broncos Defense

Saturday, October 18, 1:42 AM

New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart will face his toughest test yet against the elite Denver Broncos defense, making him a risky QB2 for Week 7. Dart's fantasy value is propped up by his rushing, as he has posted over 50 yards and a touchdown on the ground in two of his three starts, accumulating 167 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the season. However, the Broncos' pass defense is a massive concern, as they rank second in the NFL in points allowed per game (15.8) and are the second-worst matchup for fantasy quarterbacks, allowing only 11.62 fantasy points per game. Furthermore, Dart has been sacked seven times in three starts, and he will now face a Broncos team that leads the league with an astounding 30 sacks. His mobility and willingness to run are his best hope for a decent floor, but the matchup's difficulty makes him hard to trust as a starting option.
