Evan Engram Remains Limited to Short-Yardage Role in Denver

Friday, November 21, 10:33 AM

Across 10 games this season, Denver Broncos tight end Evan Engram has recorded 32 catches for 260 yards and one touchdown on 50 targets. While the 31-year-old's role in the Denver offense as a short-area target has remained fairly stable for most of the 2025 season, he hasn't factored in the red zone and brings almost no explosive ability to the table at this point in his career. Despite earning at least five targets in six out of 10 contests, Engram has yet to crack 42 receiving yards in a game. Denver also has a deep cast of talented pass-catchers between wide receivers Courtland Sutton, Troy Franklin, and Marvin Mims Jr. The Broncos have their bye week in Week 12 before a Week 13 matchup against the Washington Commanders. However, even in a favorable matchup against the struggling Washington defense, Engram will be tough to trust as a starting fantasy tight end in Week 13.

Tetairoa McMillan News

Tetairoa McMillan Salvages his Fantasy Performance with A Touchdown In Week 13

Monday, December 1, 12:31 PM

Tetairoa McMillan wasn't very busy in Week 13, but still made a notable impact in the Panthers' stunning 31-28 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. The rookie WR was targeted just twice, his lowest target count of the season. However, McMillan caught a 43-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter that proved to be the game-clinching score. McMillan has now caught TD passes in three consecutive games, and he finished Week 13 with 11.3 PPR points. In Week 15, after a bye, Carolina will face the New Orleans Saints in a Week 10 rematch. In the first meeting against the Saints, McMillan finished with 60 yards on five receptions. New Orleans ranked 20th in Fantasy Points Per Game allowed to WRs in the four weeks leading up to Week 13. Although he did not see much volume in Week 13, McMillan has a favorable matchup in Week 15, where he is likely to see more targets. Due to his solid fantasy floor this season, McMillan is worth considering as a WR3 or flex start.
