Greg Dortch Stepping Into Larger Role Sunday

Saturday, November 15, 11:25 AM

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch is expected to handle increased opportunities with Marvin Harrison Jr. (appendix) sidelined for Sunday's Week 11 contest against the San Francisco 49ers. Dortch hasn't caught a pass in his last two games, but he has continued to earn offensive snaps while also maintaining his involvement as a returner on special teams. An inconsistent role has limited Dortch's fantasy relevance for a long time, but single-week opportunities like these -- as the No. 2 receiver behind Michael Wilson -- give him an opportunity to make an impact as a low-end WR3/flex. The Cardinals will need to throw the ball to keep within striking distance of the 49ers, and Jacoby Brissett has played quite well lately. He should help elevate Dortch's game against a Niners defense allowing the ninth-most fantasy points to wide receivers in 2025.

Jordan Whittington Suiting Up Against Niners

Sunday, November 9, 3:04 PM

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Jordan Whittington (back) is officially active for Sunday's Week 10 contest against the San Francisco 49ers. He had previously been listed as questionable. Despite suiting up Sunday, Whittington can't be trusted as a reliable fantasy option. The 25-year-old saw his snap share drop to 44 percent last week, and he didn't command a single target in the Rams' win. With both Puka Nacua and Davante Adams healthy, Whittington's can be left on waivers in most fantasy leagues.
