Hunter Henry Plays 93 Percent of Snaps, Draws Eight Targets

Tuesday, September 9, 12:51 PM

New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry didn't wow anyone with his production in the Week 1 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, but what did stand out was that he played 93 percent of the offensive snaps and was tied for the team lead in targets with Kayshon Boutte with eight. Henry hauled in four of his eight targets for 66 yards, which was second on the team behind Boutte's 103 receiving yards. If you are already streaming tight ends going into Week 2 or just lost George Kittle (hamstring) for three to five weeks, Hunter is absolutely worth looking at on the waiver wire going into a Week 2 meeting against a Miami Dolphins defense that just gave up 33 points to Daniel Jones and the Indianapolis Colts. Austin Hooper was only on the field for 23 snaps and caught one pass for 10 yards. Henry is currently rostered in 59 percent of Yahoo leagues.

Brock Bowers Considered Day-to-Day With Knee Injury

Monday, September 8, 3:53 PM

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers (knee) is considered day-to-day on Monday after he left the Week 1 win over the New England Patriots on Sunday and did not return, according to head coach Pete Carroll. Bowers also downplayed his knee injury and said there are no concerns, suggesting that he should be just fine to play in a Week 2 divisional tilt next Monday night versus the Los Angeles Chargers. The 22-year-old second year tight end could be rested once the Raiders open their practice week on Thursday, but all signs are pointing to him being available as a must-start TE this coming week. Bowers was lobbying to return to Sunday's game against the Pats, but the Raiders didn't want to take any chances with a player who has quickly become one of the best TEs in the NFL. Despite leaving early, Bowers still managed five catches on eight targets for 103 yards.
