Hunter Henry Set to Benefit From Teammates' Absences?

Saturday, December 27, 9:20 AM

New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry should handle a larger target share in Sunday's Week 17 contest against the New York Jets. Quarterback Drake Maye could look Henry's way more often after wide receivers Mack Hollins (abdomen) and Kayshon Boutte (concussion) were both ruled out. Furthermore, DeMario Douglas (hamstring) is listed as questionable. The Patriots have done a good job spreading the ball around this year, so naturally, there should be more targets available for Henry with Hollins, Boutte, and possibly Douglas all sidelined. Furthermore, the veteran tight end should benefit from this week's matchup against the Jets. New York has allowed the 13th-most fantasy points and eighth-most touchdowns to tight ends in 2025. Henry, who is coming off a big game with six catches, 35 yards, and a touchdown, will remain a top target and scoring threat in New England this week. He ranks as the overall TE6 in RotoBaller's latest fantasy football rankings.

Trey McBride Set to Bounce Back in Favorable Week 17 Matchup

Saturday, December 27, 12:18 AM

Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride is coming off his lowest fantasy performance of the season. McBride was unable to extend his NFL record for most consecutive games with at least five receptions, and it will end at 16 straight games. However, the 26-year-old remains the TE1 overall by a large amount and has outscored the TE2 by 83.4 PPR points this season. Entering Week 17, McBride is RotoBaller's No. 1 tight end across all formats in a positive matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals' defense has allowed the third-most receiving touchdowns and the sixth-most receiving yards this year. McBride could bounce back big on Sunday, and he remains a set-it-and-forget-it TE1 heading into Week 17.
