The New York Jets re-signed exclusive-rights free-agent wide receiver Irvin Charles (knee) to an undisclosed deal on Friday. Charles will return to the Jets in 2025, although it's highly unlikely he'll be ready for training camp this summer or the start of the regular season after tearing his ACL in Week 14 of last year. The 27-year-old former undrafted free agent appeared in 13 games (no starts) in 2024 and was unable to catch his only target on offense. In his two NFL seasons, he has yet to catch a pass on just two targets over 25 games (no starts), mainly contributing on special teams. Charles logged 212 special-teams snaps last year and will likely resume a similar role at some point next year when he's cleared from his knee injury. He's nowhere near the fantasy radar.

On a night where seemingly everything went right for the Cleveland Browns offensive reserves, second-year wide receiver Gage Larvadain led the team with six targets and five catches, connecting with Dillon Gabriel on the first play of the night and ending Thursday's 37-13 win with 48 receiving yards and an additional four yards on the ground. An undrafted free agent in 2025, Larvadain caught seven passes as a rookie, but even following the release of fourth-year veteran Cedric Tillman on Thursday, he could still face a numbers crunch ahead of Sunday's roster cutdown deadline. The Browns spent two top 40 picks in the 2026 NFL draft on receivers KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston, and with Jerry Jeudy and Isaiah Bond expected to round out the room, even should Larvadain stick on the roster for his special teams contributions, there is very little fantasy production to be found on the fringes of an offense that still faces serious questions at quarterback.
